"On the edge of town there’s the house of Hamsy Pigg, the butcher known in all the valley; his basement is where he prepared his meat, and he was so precious about his ham- making family recipe that nobody but him was allowed inside. But it’s been three days and he hasn’t come out yet! And there were strange noises coming from downstairs… Gremma, his now-widowed wife, is begging you to go down there and find out what happened to poor Hamsy, and most importantly, retrieve his ham and the recipe!"
